Chris Carney, Dealer Principal

Chris was one of the first dealers in Queensland to embrace the Lexus brand.  A highly-successful, award winning automotive dealer for over 40 years, he instantly saw the attraction of the Lexus brand and the attention to detail, precision engineering and technological innovations that makes it a luxury automotive-market titan. He drives his team to achieve the same commitment to excellence and customer relationships that he himself values.  Chris is very hands-on, and can regularly be found greeting new and old friends in the showroom.

Dylan Rickard, Sales Consultant

Dylan was appointed as a Lexus sales consultant in October 2023, after spending the past four years working in the Toyota parts and sales departments with the Mike Carney Group. With extensive experience and dedication, Dylan is well-equipped to help you find the perfect Lexus for your needs. He's looking forward to assisting you on your car-buying journey.

Joshua Daniels, Parts Manager

With 13 years of experience in the parts industry, Joshua has been a valued member of the Lexus of Townsville team since 2020. His extensive knowledge and dedication to customer service ensure that every Lexus owner receives the highest quality support and genuine Lexus parts tailored to their vehicle’s needs. Passionate about precision and efficiency, Joshua is committed to providing prompt and seamless solutions, ensuring that every customer experience is effortless and exceeds expectations. Samuel Micklethwaite, Sales Manager

Samuel is our dedicated Sales Manager and will help with all of your New Vehicles Needs. Samuel moved to Townsville with family in Sept 2013 and has mainly worked in retail and hospitality jobs previously, after having his son a change was needed which led him to apply for a detailing position here at Mike Carney Toyota. After only a few months his excellent work ethic had been noticed and was suggested to upper management where he was offered a position change to be a New Vehicle sales Consultant. Since starting in Toyota New Vehicle sales in Jan 2021 Samuel was again offered a wonderful opportunity to join the Lexus of Townsville Team as the Sales Consultant.

Barbara Sparrow, Service Manager

Barbara has been a dedicated member of the Lexus of Townsville team for the past seven years and in 2024 Barbara was appointed as Service Manager. With a strong background in the brand and a passion for delivering exceptional service, she is committed to ensuring every Lexus owner experiences the highest level of care and professionalism. Barbara values the strong customer-focused culture at Lexus of Townsville and believes that "providing a seamless and personalised experience for our customers is what sets us apart and ensures our continued success."
